Hi! E-Commerce Editor Julia Marzovilla signing on here to remind you that It’s nearly 2023 and that means one thing and one thing only: it’s officially time to plan for the year ahead. As someone who shops for a living, that means that I have my eye on a few middle-of-winter essentials that I somehow forgot to buy in November, like sturdy snow boots and a luxe cashmere scarf that will keep me warm on my commute. Mom, if you’re reading this—your love of the latter has clearly rubbed off on me.
That also means that I’m taking some much-needed time off to recharge and finally catch up on sleep—plus partaking in a few self-care rituals. Getting my skin in check was one of my big 2022 goals, and 2023 is going to be all about getting my hair looking healthy again after dying it a few times last year. With this in mind, I’ve been stocking up on hair growth oils that will make my thin hair look a little fuller. It’s not often that I have four-hour stretches in my day where I can sit with oil in my hair, so I’m taking full advantage of my time off.
Wishing you all the best New Year’s Eve celebrations ever, even if that means just sitting on the couch with your loved ones.
I recently got this (monogrammed!) version of Hill House Home’s Ellie Nap Dress and it has single-handedly become the most-worn thing in my wardrobe. If you aren’t already a massive fan of the humble nap dress, pick up one as a you-made-it-through-the-holidays gift for yourself. SHOP IT
