Hello all and happy Friday! Reporting live from Brooklyn, New York, where it is currently 93º but feels like 1000º+. With the weekend just hours away, I'm trying to keep my summer spirits high by leaning into all things warm weather: swathing myself in chic, breezy linens, ~finding my beach~ via an inflatable pool moment, and painting my nails in a bright summery hue.
For the times in which I'm not submerged in water, I've been beating the heat by perfecting my summer skincare—a surprising success thanks to our “Best July Beauty Launches” roundup (scroll through it to see my contribution). In other skincare news, I recently received a first-of-its-kind laser treatment, AviClear, which is designed to rid acne for good (and it might...actually...be working?). If you're curious, I wrote all about my experience here. Whether you'll be beating the heat or embracing it this weekend, I hope you ~find your beach~ too.

Fine—I’ll say it! Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Filter foundation really is that good. Following some strong encouragement from MC’s beauty editor (and Charlotte Tilbury’s most dedicated customer—here’s proof), I bought into the hype—and have used the do-it-all product every day since. Because of its buildable formula, it can be used on its own, as a base underneath foundation, mixed with foundation, or as a natural-looking highlighter. It somehow blurs pores, adds glow, and covers dark spots all at once. Holy grail status pending. SHOP IT
