Including the Victoria Beckham x Gap collab that's destined to sell out.

Friends! As the resident shopper of my group, I spend a lot of time sending links (both solicited and unsolicited) to things I think my pals should buy. I spend a lot of time scrolling through new arrivals for work (and let’s face it, for fun too), so it’s a way of spreading my knowledge. One of my many ways of saying, Hey, I’m thinking of you.
As the seasons change, I’m turning my sights towards winter pieces that could add an instant upgrade to my friends’ wardrobes. Everything under $500, but items that look far more expensive. Read on for what I’d tell my friends to buy.

Cos is always at the top of my list for affordable, but pricey-looking quick hits that could be added to one's closet. I instantly fell in love with the midnight blue blouse which, by the way, also comes in ivory (I can imagine myself wearing it all holiday season), and that checked skirt is giving vintage Prada. Good coats and sweaters can easily ring up in the thousands, but leave it to Cos to offer up must-buy options for under $350.

The Victoria Beckham collaboration is what brought me to the Gap this week (I currently have a slight hyperfixation on tuxedo shirts), but it’s those brown jeans that I actually clicked and bought. From what I’ve seen, brown denim will be having a moment this winter, so I figured at $40, why not give it a shot. Ever since I fell in love with the Hailey Bieber jeans (she did her big one with them, TBH), the brand’s been back on my radar in a big way.

More often than not recently, every time I see someone in a super cute, but pretty trendy piece of clothing, they’ve said it’s Reformation. After poking around on the site, this would be my destination for all things holiday dressing. You’ll find frog closure jackets that fit like tops, shoes that can hop from party to party, plus other staples that will make you rethink how you’ll tackle that “festive” dress code.

If you’re looking for new workhorses for your winter wardrobe, of course I’d suggest J.Crew as an important stop. My favorite cashmere socks are finally back in stock ( an awesome gift, by the way), while these faux leather pants are perfect for layering with heattech tights. Similar to Cos, J.Crew always offers fab coat options for under $350, and their accessories are equally as good. Definitely browse through the bag and shoe options for pieces that won’t break your budget.
